JAL has given Pauline and Benoît the opportunity to take their first trip to Japan and to report their experiences to their followers and fans by video. They take us on a journey to the heart of Japan – its nature, big cities and traditions. They begin their journey – where else? – in Tokyo, exploring everything from the frenzy of the Shibuya district to the tranquility of the Meiji Jingu Shrine gardens. They carry on to Kanazawa, the capital of the Ishikawa Prefecture, then the Noto Peninsula situated on the Japanese coast, then on to Takayama in the Japanese Alps. In Nara, they sleep in a Buddhist Temple and attend a Buddhist ceremony at the Gyokuzoin Temples. Finally they conclude their trip with a walk in the iconic Arashiyama bamboo plantations.
